Still miss Beijing lots and lots.

Started working again today, went down to Causeway Bay to learn about beer pouring, but whilst I prepared for work I couldn’t help but think about the last month in Beijing.

It all feels so different, the work, the atmosphere, the people, dunno… …

Wandering around town, I keep seeing things that remind me of Beijing, and even as I type away at the cpu I’m thinking about last week, it’s doing head a little.

我未試過0甘架，

就算放完個長假都唔會0甘，

感覺好似失戀，可能無0甘嚴重啦，

但係都類似架,成日挂住挂住0甘，

Really唔點呀！

我諗最好儘快投入番呢度0既工作，

要積極d做野，heehee

Ok, back to today’s beer pouring. We even had an expert run us thru each step.

The last step of the cleaning is rinsing and draining of the glass, and then checking whether it’s clean yet

..

之後就可以開始倒啤酒，

但係杯0既角度一定要45度，

所以我係唔合格架

..

It doesn’t really matter tho, look，you can still pour a glass of beer without the glass being at 45 degrees (it just doesn’t look very pro, GRIN)

..

因爲時間0既問題，

我一早已經準備好一杯啦，

Hmmm, perfect!

OK, this is an example of stuff that reminds me of Beijing. Something as simple a hose in a drain, and look what happens…

當大家睇到呢一個update 0既時候，

我已經番到來香港啦。

I really miss life in Beijing.

The past month has been so fulfilling. 

I can honestly say I’ve never had so much fun filming, just being myself, running around looking for stuff to do and thoroughly enjoying myself!

終于去到最後一集‘首都闖蕩’啦，

拍左0甘耐真係玩得好開心，

遇到好多難忘0既事，好多熱情0既人，

更加0係身邊人身上學到好多野。

For this update I’ve picked out a couple of pics when we had a day off and I wandered down to an antique market.

Beijing has got to be the safest city I’ve lived in. No matter how late it is, no matter where you are, it always feels so carefree and comfortable. I guess these guys play a big part in all that.

After the day off, we all got back to work to film the last episode. For this last episode each of us went separatley to our favourite place to talk about this trip, the ups and downs, the Olympics, Beijing, everything!

It looks a lot like I’m filming an MV, but I’m not, I’m just chatting about the change that’s taking place in Beijing.

I can’t remember what it was I said here, but the picture’s pretty nice, a little dark I know but there’s still focus, so let’s put it up to share, GRIN!

Nothing much really, just sitting on the steps, which is sometimes not allowed in HK…

It’ really hard take a night picture, where you can get a clear view of both the subject and the surrounding scenery. But this is a pretty good attempt.

其實令呢個trip最難忘就係遇到0既人，

佢地0既熱情真係感動到我地。

..

And finally I found a coffee shop to sit down and talk about the girls. I think it’s the first time I’ve worked so closely with 3 girls, and in the past few weeks I’ve learnt so much about each of them.

Won’t say anymore, you’ll have to watch to find out!

After checking out the Hutongs, we decided to check Beijing’s town planning to have a look at the contrast between the old and the new Beijing. This model of Beijing was pretty spectacular!

後面好靚金色0既建築就係故宮啦

d胡同同埋d舊屋都keep得好好架

當然唔少得新0既大廈啦

..

The best part of the exhibition had to be the dimming of the lights in the hall and then the lighting up of the model.

A detailed explanation of the whole of Beijing was given as each street lit up, great stuff!

而故宮亦都有同樣0既展覽

睇下個模型做得幾細緻，

真係好靚！

And upstairs was an exhibition of the Olympic venues. Well, here we have the Birds Nest, which in reality is much more impressive than this little model, much, much more IMPRESSIVE!!!

Now we have the Water Cube where all the swimming and diving events are held.

We bumped into a group of English spectators who also came to check out the exhibition.

..

Whilst we’re upstairs, why don’t we take a top shot of the huge model downstairs…
