During the past month, countless people have asked me the reason as to why i decided to try out for Miss Hong Kong. Besides just being able to have that pride to represent Hong Kong where i was born and that it is a great success in life.　Ｉt’s definitely a very valuable and meaningful lifetime experience. It’s only been a month, yet it feels like its been much longer. During this past month, i’ve done so many things and gained so much knowledge from the experiences in which i would never learn from school. I think regardless of what the result is on the day of the actual contest, I would still feel so fortunate and grateful to have such memorable experience added to my life.

It is so great to be able to look at back in time through pictures and remember all the great times i’ve had. Here are some pictures i’d love to share with you back when i was in middle school and highschool and the great times that i had!

Hi everyone! We are finally back in Hong Kong from Miami!!! We got back yesterday evening…feels good to be back! During the 10 days trip, didn’t quite get a chance to write on this blog to introduce myself a bit more. We were just so tied up with our schedule, it was a blast!

There’s a picture of me, my sister and two of my little niece and nephew, they are both extremely adorable arent they? Out of everything in my life, i value my family the most! My family means the world to me, without them, i would not exist. My family and i have always been really close, i can talk to them about anything. A goal i’ve set for myself in life is to be successful and make my parents pround, at the same time ensure that i have the ability to take good care of them just like they did when i was a baby. During these past weeks, i’ve learned a lot about myself and my family. I realized that i have been so close to my family that i couldn’t even last a couple days without them. My first week here in Hong Kong was somewhat depressing because i felt so weak without my family by my side. But looking at the brighter side, it is also a chance for me to mature and grow up! I should take advantage of this chance to learn to be independent and show my love ones what i am capable of. If i can’t even handle a little challenge then how would i be able to take good care of my parents in the near future?
So the first week in hong kong was pretty tough for me, but i’ve been doing so much better. I’ve having a great time and just enjoying the time of my life. It is a life time experience, i have done so much things the past ten days i’d never imagine myself doing! Things like going on a cruise, going to a beach that is so nice and clean that it looks almost too fake to be real, hiking, being in a fashion show, salsa dancing….and the list goes on! Just still tune to my blog and you will soon see pictures of the fun we had on the trip!

My first entry!! I’ve got so much to jot down!! First off, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!!! I love U!!! I wish i could fly back really quick for a day to spend the day with you to celebrate! This is the first birthday i could recall that i am not with you on the day of your birthday. SORRY i will make it up when you come in July!

Finally have a day off tomorrow, i probably will end up spending the whole day tomorrow just packing and out shopping for things for the trip to Miami! I am definitely looking forward to it, i’ve never been to Miami before, i can hardly wait until we get there, the nice beach and the hot sun!!

Dance practice today was long! We had to learn four different dance routines. It sure took us a while to get it all down and have it together. Luckily our coach is extremely understanding and patient, he really took his time with us and walked us through each and every steps.All of us 12 girls sort of slacked off for a bit earlier today because we were all so tired from the practice, luckily we have Angel. Angel looks after us, she’s with us 24/7 and she is the sweetest. She pulled us aside and spoke to us with her heart, reminding us how important it is that we stay committed, that we should have passion in doing what we chose to do and give it our best shot. After our talk, we all got up from our laziness and pulled ourselves together. We now have all four of the dances down, we just need a bit more practice to ensure that we remember each and every steps.
