在新劇《九江意醲》中有突破性演出，劇中飾演九江鎮首富女兒，由於天生長短腳行動不便，因怕被人得知殘障缺陷，因而甚少出外。為了演繹這個角色，要特別學習長短腳人士的步行姿態。出街時我有細心留意長短腳人士行路方式，大部分都是拐下拐下動作很大。不過跟監製黃偉聲商討過後，他認為我只要當扭親腳去演便可以。
劇中雖然先後失去父母，幸好姑媽雪梨對她寵愛有加，親情上獲得補償。
為了覓得如意郎君，從小學習琴棋書畫、針黹刺繡，為自己準備嫁妝。
劇中跟敖嘉年本是親生兄妹，但年幼時二人因船難而失散，經過多次艱苦的經歷，才可以重逢。
陳錦鴻在親時，無意中將她長短腳的缺陷公諸於世，令她大受打擊。
