Hi everyone. I’m back from the trip to Cheung Ka Kai. It was, if nothing else, an eye opener to places I thought about going, but would never go on my own and so I am grateful for the experience. I look forward to sharing with you what I saw. Please be patient however, as I have to wait until the show for this trip airs on TV here before I can put up the photos.

In the meantime let’s be distracted with a Random. Someone asked me what this meant:

Ça va trés bien. J`avais retourné! Ça me fait suprisé que il y a même des personnes qui parlez Français à ce blog.

It reads, “I’m very well. I have returned. I’m surprised there are people who speak French [reading] this blog.”

Also at your request, another word for juxtapose is contrast. When you juxtpose two things you are basically contrasting them. Although I am comfortable living in Hong Kong, sometimes the  laidback Canadian lifestyle habits is juxtposed against the ever-changing and fast-paced living here.

And because this is a Random, I choose to touch on multiple topics today including posting photos I took a few years back from a trip. They are photos from when I went to Banff, Canada. A well-known place, because it is surrounded by the famous Rocky Mountains.

You can ride in this carriage around town.

Banff is a small town and its main street is lined with individual shops. The building in the photo is probably the largest shopping complex they have there.
