We were at the TVB Good Show Kick-Off this past week along with our “sisters”, previous Miss Hong Kongs. We don’t see each other all the time, but when we do they are always memorable moments. You might have to check their respective blogs to see them (as I don’t have photos), but Loretta, Kayi and Skye all sang at the event!

This November is TVB’s 42nd anniversary and the big birthday bash began in October with a Lighting Ceremony and continues into December with an awards show. And so the purpose of today’s Road Show Kick-Off is to commence the voting for this year’s TVB Awards. The award categories, to name a few include Favorite Actor, Favorite Actress, Favorite Actor and Actress in a Supporting Role.

Word of the Day: Cast

We were at a Yan Chai Elementary School promoting Yan Chai’s annual cookie sale. Each can of cookies is $50 and ALL of the money goes towards charity. The cookie manufacturer footed all costs to making the cookies as part of their gesture towards goodwill. We are honored to be a part of this annual event as Miss Hong Kongs.

We gave gifts to all the students at the event. Their smiles were probably the brightest.

Word of the Day: Chime
