Arriving at Cape Port Elizabeth

After a few days arriving at Joburg, we had to leave for Cape Port Elizabeth where the Sports event was held. We got the earliest flight at 6:30 which meant we had to get up at 3:30am. It’s very windy and cold there - a little bit unexpected - none of us prepared for this weather and because of tiredness and the hectic schedule - a lot of us got ill…including me..:(

Thank you for the cute girls who came and supported us with their amazing drum playing and singing.

Stunning view of the sea from the hotel. Then we found out later on there was no proper curtain in the room (apart from that see through curtain!! Definitely a way to enjoy the view 24 hours……or not.. haha

Arriving in South Africa - Joburg

Experience in South Africa is a mixture of excitement and craziness. We had a late night flight to Joburg - couldn’t sleep much on the plane so was rather tired when landed. Surprisingly there was a group of African dancers welcomed us at the airport. They gave us SA flag and were dancing for us, thank you for your kindness.

It is getting close to Christmas time - it is supposed to be summer in South Africa at the moment- wonder what it feels like to have a hot Christmas?

Shopping at the rooftop market in Joburg. Bought a few sovenirs and did some shooting. Still recovering from my tiredness though…

Miss World Designer Golden Dress Collection fashion show

In Abu Dhabi, four designers have designed a collection of golden dresses for us to be shown in a fashion show in the hotel. There were a lot of local and overseas reporters and a lot of pictures were taken. Our collection is very simple compared to others. It is made from a metallic material that is meant to have a feeling of melting - it is tightly fitted and it helps to stand out the body shape. Although simple - it’s extremely elegant and beautiful. I hope I have modelled the dress well

Miss Spain in the middle is gorgeous! Shame she can’t speak English - or shame I can’t speak Spanish!
