Sonija
We just watched your episode at base camp here in US. We picked up the broadcast from a Canadian satellite. It was an interesting story and we can’t wait to see how you do next week. (I cheated by visiting your web site. I’m sorry you did not make it to the top.) I was concerned about your training and acclimatization. It appears your team was trying to summit in a relatively short time. To ascend a 6000M peak is a dangerous task and we admire your courage and determination. As a fellow mountaineer, I can tell you acute mountain sickness is serious and deadly if not taken care of quickly and properly. With more time in planning and proper training, I am sure many of your team members could have made it. Hopefully, this is not your last attempt and good luck to your future climb. Just remember, getting up to the top is a choice but coming down alive is mandatory
